As we traverse the Mainland, we will explore a 400-year old Hakka village, where you
can observe the still immaculate stone architecture of the buildings around the village.
Despite the beauty of these villages, they are a rare sight for most, as the villages are
closed off to members of the public, and as such most tourism pamphlets mention them.

The village is not one of the hot sightseeing spots highlightedly open for public, but still an ordinary residential area for Hakka people. Therefore, the customs and the original scenery of the Hakka village have being protected. And, you will definitely be amazed by those splendid views.

As an old woman sits at the step of her own porch, what could be on her mind?

Those of you that are more adventurous may want to try the Chinese styled preserve duck and preserved ham while at the Hakka village.
